After being released from prison in the late 1960s, Manson becomes a charismatic cult leader who is able to brainwash his followers into believing he was some sort of prophetic, Jesus-like figure. The movie retells of how Manson forms a “family” and convinces them to carry out a series of brutal murders in 1969.
